I'm a little suspicious of this. These are two cardioids pointing back to back, right?
If so, they should be a little closer, right?

no shit.
I assume its two cardioid capsules. one wired out of phase.
i'm not sure of the impact when a bi directional microphone is "phauxed" by using two directional mics...but most Mid-Side stereo microphones do it this way. I'm sure it works.
$375 is a lot for oktava.
but... w/a body its still $500. add another w/a card or hyper cap and you've got a nice Mid-Side rig for short money.
