Library: 1 TB RAID-5 array, using 3x500 GB drives (not full yet). I'm in the process of building a new file server, and in the process, the array will be expanded to 1.5 TB with a fourth 500 GB drive.
Backup: 1.5 TB hard drive in USB enclosure, using rsync to back up the files.

At some point the price of SDHC cards will get to the point where I just record a show once on them, transfer to "whatever" for listening, and throw the card in a case for archiving.  When I can buy a 4 or 8GB SDHC card for $1 or $2, I'll do that for shows I care about.  Can anyone point to anything that says SDHC isn't good for long term storage?

I run a Buffalo Terastation Live raid array.  The regular price is a bit expensive but if you hold out there are really good sales every few months.  I have the 4tb version  (holds about 3tb in raid) for less than I could have built a quality raid box with the same capacity.  On top of storage it has a good www interface to let you stream media to wherever you are at.  I also back up to the archive.  Also, all recordings go to a friend on DVD to store at his house in case all else fails.
