I don't have any specific mics in question, nor battery, but in general if you connect two average-good quality mics directly to a camcorder what kind of life can you expect?

I have a 2 setups but both utilize their own power source. I doubt though if a mic would have much impact on cam's battery life as its the LCD and tape drive that will use most of the power
