That's what I have been using, but I wouldn't mind running a card as a back up.

edit to add: I should mention that I am using it in a 722, not sure how it will act for 4 channels.

I can't believe how cheap CF card are now. Saving your recording for $110 is well worth it. Keep up the great recordings Charlie.

I have been running the A-Data 16GB card for 2 months now as well.
It will run 2 Track 24/96 fine without issue don't know about 24/192 or 4-track 24/96. I would think you could get away with 24/48 4-track though.
I could not get it to run longer than 20 minutes running 24/96 with FLAC encoding enabled though (Badger firmware).
24/48 worked fine with FLAC encoding (Badger Firmware).
From others input you will need to re-format any time you are cleaning up the card in order to keep the file blocks in alignment. Flash media doesn't write as well as Hard disks with random writes (i.e. you erase a file in the middle of the flash).

Thanks for the info. +t ya all. I would most likely be doing 4 tracks at 24/48. FYI, I recently tried 24/88.2 and it the resampling came out rather nice. I'll try to post some clips when I get done with the other million things I'm working on.

I finally went with one of these:

I think I got it on sale for about $170 or so...somewhere?
Nevertheless, this card was able to handle 4 tracks at 24/192 until it filled up with no errors at all.
So far it as been a solid performer.
