Title: Microcassette Playback / Transfer - best solution?
Post by: echo1434 on December 01, 2007, 01:36:47 PM
I've got a whole pile of microcassettes that I recorded many years ago. I know, the quality of this format is terrible so I'm already dealing with poor quality — but I was just curious if there's a "premium" playback device for these things. I've never seen anything but the small little devices that only have a headphone out.

Ok, there are some larger devices but I don't think they're much better. They all seem to be geared for the same purpose — quick and easy voice recording.

I've never seen a deck that has a line out, so at this point I'm assuming I'll just have to use the headphone out on the deck I recorded this stuff with. If anyone knows anything different or has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
