I just started using Sound Forge 8.0 and have a question about the dB values at the left-hand side of the screen. My top value listed is -2.5 dB. Clicking on the plus sign zooms in and gives me a top value of -1.2 dB but the entire waveform isn't in view anymore. The bottom half of the waveform is not in view unless you scroll down. When you scroll down you can see the bottom half but not the top half of the waveform.
Is there a way to have the top value at -1.2 dB and be able to view the entire waveform on the screen?
