anyone know of a source where I purchase rubber end sleaves for AA Batteries...these are needed when placing the Battery into my
nak 100 bodies...
Thanks
-
have never found a direct replacement but I took a mic and a battery to my local home center and found some o-rings that made acceptable substitutes
-
thanks for the suggestion

Wouldn't large heatshrink work? Or am I not getting the purpose of these sleeves..
-
heat shrink might work...just need something to keep the batteries snug in the body...and could go on and off the battery easily

Any reason why you need to get them on and off the batteries?
when I was running CM300s I wrapped tape around the batteries I used, adding layers of tape until the batteries were the diameter to fit the barrel.

the Nak100's take AA's after each show I remove the batteries from the barrels ,before the next show I replace the batteries with new ones and need to add the sleave to keep them snug...I do have some originals but that are starting to decay ....

Go to hardware store or auto parts store with an AA battery and the mic body. Look for something like plastic fuel line, rubber hose, maybe even PVC pipe... see if you can find something to fill the gap that will fit together loosely, but not too loosely. As long as the battery is centered enough so it lines up with the contacts you are golden.
