Title: AD-20>7-pin>D7
Post by: charles on February 11, 2005, 12:20:25 AM
Finally got a 7-pin cable today. Only problem I'm having is I can't connect the cable to my AD-20 coax in. What kind of converter do I need to do this?

I'm thinking a coax to 1/8 mini adapter. Is that right?

If so....can you get them at radio shack?

AD20 has a coax out.
you will need a mono 1/8" male to RCA female adapter plug to connect your AD20 and your 7 pin cable.

Sorry, no idea about Radioshack, but you can get this adapter from SoundProfessionals (here (http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-RCA-MINI-2))

you should have no problem getting such an adaptor at radio shack -- just be sure the 1/8" male connector is a MONO (not stereo) connector.

or, you could have someone make you one... actually, my AD20 came with one from radio shack.

I went to Radio Shack this morning and got a 1/8' mono adapter. So, I'm all set. +T to all on this thread. Thanks for the help.
