I bought an M10 second hand a couple of years ago, and outside of experimenting with it at home a handful of times (literally probably less than 10 times), I've never actually used it to record any shows. It's just been sitting in my closet basically. Looking at the filenames, the last time I used it was back in 2017. It did work fine though.
I just took it out again, and when I plug my mics (Church Audio CA-11) into the mic port, the left channel is just completely static. It still picks up audio, but it's very faint, and it's completely drowned out by the static/hiss. The right channel is fine.
When I take the mics out and use the internal mics, that is completely fine, and I used the mics plugged into my PC and no noise, so clearly something seems wrong with the jack. Has anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it (is the M10 easy to disassemble?), or is it time for a new recorder (the A10 perhaps)?

Cheapest route is to try and clean the ports. Many people here use those teeth flossing brushes to get any gunk out of the jack. May be a faulty connection. But I assume it's definitely a jack issue.
How about trying Line In? I would check that as well.

Yeah I think this thing is on the brink. Same issue with the line in too :bawling: Have an upcoming gig I'd love to record as best as possible, so seems like a good excuse to upgrade to an A10.

Yeah, I can't think of a problem that would affect one channel of both input jacks. Do you have other mics, even crappy ones, that you can test to see if you can replicate the problem with them?

If it were the mics, wouldn't there also be an issue when using them in my PC? Both left and right capsule worked and sounded perfectly fine in the mic-in port of my PC.

Are the CA11s the ones with the removable capsule? If so you can try swapping the left and right caps and see if the problem follows.

Sounds weird but try wrapping the mic cable around the m10 just to make sure it isn't outside interference.

One would think, yes. But I'd still want to test the M10 jacks with another mic just to confirm that the recorder is the issue.
