the aes2 is pro right?? got a dap1 in the chain?

I could mod your standard cable if you want me to mark. I went ahead and did that with mine and it works great. I just don't have the balls to use that power cable i made on  my gear. I know i did it right, it just like the peace of mind. LMK....i'll be snapping a pic of it tonight for someone else that was asking. I'll post it here.

and you can do it at your leisure,like I said I have some how ended up with 2
power cables so I don't mind converting one.thanks!

ok, here is a potentially dumb question...can you feed a D100/M1 from the AES to coax?

the m1 is pro right, if the aes is a pro connection you should be able to.  If it's consumer you should be able to run a d8 or 100.  Correct me if i'm wrong on this.  Kind of like the vx pocket will only feed a pro deck, if you use the line out of the dongle

yeah, if its pro, you have to run it out of an m-1 which i think is the only 'pro' deck that they make, but if its consumer, a d/7-8 would work just fine :)

the v3's 1st digi aes out is consumer, the aes2 is pro :)

yes, i always use the aes > coax for my d100 and leave the coax out for patchers.

FWIW, i just tried the odl-312 in the aes2, the pro output and it worked just fine ;D
