Topic: bad optical cable?

so i got my opti mod v3 back. hook everything up. im getting good levels on the v3, everything seems fine, im getting the red "light" thru the optical cable, but im getting nothing at my jb3

is it possible that my optical cable is bad? it was fine last time i used it, and to the best of my knowledge hasnt undergone any physical abuse or anything, and has been in my bag since

any ideas? i dont have another optical cable here to test either...

did you change the jb3 option to optical instead of line-in?

Phantom power on?

"ANSR" engaged on the V3?

Idiot things, I know, but lord knows I've done it....

What a drag. I'm pretty sure that if you see that red "light" through your cable, then you should get a signal.

i leave all my setiings pretty much the same, like ansr, 44.1k, hpf, blah blah, but i roll to a show about 2 months after moedown, the settings on the v3 had reset themselves like ansr, sampling rate, so i am FREAKIN out right before the band comes on and i couldnt get my shit to work, needless to say i had a few beers in me and forgot to engage ansr and the sampling rate, fuckin n00b things, but live and learn, i now look over EVERYTHING twice too

What happened with the shipping?  Last I read they shipped it ground, per their policy for opti-mods.  Then you wanted it sooner, but it was too late to overnight it since it'd already gone out ground.  Or did I miss something?
