Good Markertek experience for parts
« on: January 02, 2005, 03:32:43 AM »
Just wanted to pass along that I had a really good experience with these guys.  I ordered a whole pile of assorted connectors and cables one night.  Then I called in twice the next morning and added different stuff.  They shipped it out that afternoon and I had it the next day (UPS ground).  They shipped a really tightly packaged box that had quite a bit of weight to it.  Cost was only $7.26 + 4.95 handling which was totally fair, and the whole order was right.

Couldn't ask for anything more!  :D

the online site isn't great for browing - it's better if you know what you're after but they'll send you a catalog for free

With all the Markertek bashing threads here, I thought I'd chime in to say I've had nothing but good experiences from them.  Probably ordered from them 6-8 times and have never had any troubles.  I've always gotten good product, good prices, and quick shipping.

maybe i've just been unlucky.  glad you had a great experience.  I need to order 750' of belden xlr and they have the cheapest prices i can find online.   maybe this time they'll send me exactly 750' instead of 7,500' :P

Another satisfied customer here.  Given your past experiences, good luck on your 750' Belden cable order, STL!

yeah that was me.......i ordered 6' and got 6000 hence my comment above ;)

they took care of it but i freaked out when i saw the first bill they sent me because they couldn't get all the funds from my checking account.  They CSR also thought i was joking with them when i first called and complained.  They actually said "you are joking, right? hahahahah" ::)  I said "FUCK NO I'm not joking. send out some ups tags along with my correct order, TODAY."  Yeah.......they got the message.
