pretty sure it's not - but you can get MBIT+ dithering, as well as a few other processors (EQ, dynamics) with Izotope Ozone 3.

While I think the UV22 dither is superior I think the up/downsample in Audition is better. But it takes forever. my 2c

I've started using it in wavelab as well.  great dithering tool.  if you do a search you can find the "dithering shootout" and izotope was the winner by many.

MSRP is $250.  I assume it's available elsewhere cheaper.

I would def like to have it to see what all the rage is about, but UV22HR in WL 5 is plenty good enough for me. Wasnt UV22HR rated 2nd, just behind MBIT+?

So, I have a question for someone who has tried both UV22HR and MBIT+. Did you notice a vast improvement when switching from UV22HR to MBIT+? Or is the difference minimal at best? I know the Izotope package that is $250.00 does come with other programs for EQ'ing and Processing, right? It def might be worth the cash.

Rated how/where?  UV22HR placed 8th out of 21 in this dither shootout.  Maybe that's the one you're thinking of?  To listen to a handful of dither options using material we here on TS record frequently, there's the dither comp I posted a while back (WSP and YMSB sources).

I've never particularly liked UV22HR, but I wouldn't say MBIT+ was a vast improvement, but it was significant to my ears.  MBIT+ is more natural sounding than UV22HR, which sounds etched to my ears.

I bought this last week on ebay for 100 bucks FYI.  Through bidding and not BIN.    I'll test it out on my next show.   ;D  100 seems reasonable.  And I can use it in Soundforge and Samplitude as well.  Not sure yet really how to use it though. :-\  There's a bunch of weird stuff on it.  I'm not really versed in re mastering type stuff and compressing.   ???
