Glitches in soundboard feed, any chance for recovery?
« on: March 21, 2024, 11:22:10 AM »
I recently recorded Wayne Hancock and was able to get a feed off the soundboard. I used 1/4" > Tascam DR-60D, and I noticed in post there were a lot of little glitches throughout the recording. I use the "click/pop eliminator" in Audition, but that doesn't seem to have helped it much. I'm guessing the recording is a lost cause, but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone had any ideas. that was a quick hit with spectral repair in rx 10

Didn't even think of using that  :banging head: Thanks for doing that, definitely gives me hope I can salvage it.

Exactly this.  RX does a great job in fixing a lot of lost cause recordings.

Definitely...makes for tedious work but worth it in the end, it's already sounding much better. A few spots where there will be some weird distortion, but much better than the jarring sounds it was making before.
