Basic 744T settings
« on: December 02, 2007, 02:49:20 PM »
Can someone please run me through some basic set-up settings for the 744T?    I am running a V-2 out front....That is connected to channels 3&4 with the XLR > mini XLR.    I plan on using 1&2 for the 2nd mic pair or board patch. I assume I can run the board signal safely into 1&2 as long as phantom is off.

Thanks...hopefully see some of the crew at Caribbean Holidaze.

That's precisely how I run mine.  If I just do 2 channel I'm not even using the 1 and 2 XLR on the 744 because my stuffs already all ready to roll in the bag and all..  But ya the boards can get hot.  I plan to add another v2 in the future.
