Concert recording?
« on: September 26, 2022, 06:41:05 AM »
I'm wanting to go to a concert and record the show. I bought a Roland r09 but I was wondering if someone could give me a hint as to what external mic I should get to attach to my hat for better audio?

Welcome.
You may have read on here before you joined about your Roland. That is a good "deck" or recording device. You should tell us more about YOUR aspect of live music recording.
i.e., what type of music. What type of venues (large, small, clubs, arenas, etc). Where, location wise in venue, do you typically buy tickets. Do you know the band(s) and or crews of any of these bands.
Oh, and budget for external microphones.
That sort of information will help us answer your questions. There is certainly a wealth of knowledge on this site.
