Booting from a USB CDROM on IBM Thinkpad t20

I'm trying to boot from a USB CDROM on IBM Thinkpad t20 and haven't had ANY luck, the OEM CDROM is long gone and I'm trying to reload Red Hat... does anyone know of a boot disk that will do this (or any other means?)
