Anybody know for certain if the CDRW900, when recording from an analog source, passes the signal from the RCA inputs through just the gain control and then back to the RCA outs, or does it go through the AD >DA stages first?

Called Tascam, and it does AD>DA between analog RCA in and out, shit!
