Anyone know which small Pelican brand case fits a pair of U89's ? There's a small one that will fit in a gear bag. I had one and sold it.
Thanks.

Pelican mini case # 1060 works dimensionally and comes in various colors or clear now

I use a Pelican 1120 for my TL's. My guess is that they are both close in size.

Does it have foam inside?

I just got a 1060. They fit but it's Tight. It doesn't come with any foam, it kind of has a rubber insert. So I got the pick and pluck foam for it, but there wasn't enough room to have the mics surrounded by foam the way I would like. The mics are just kinda lying on a piece of foam, with a piece shoved in between them, and another piece on top. I don't love it, but it's as small as you can get for a gear bag. I should probably buy some more foam and give it another try.

Yes, mine has foam. I ordered the pick and pluck insert and cut it to fit my mics. Mine are fully protected and fit snug. I can try and e-mail you some pictures.

I have the 3 tier petrol bag...744 in center...v2 below 744...was hoping to find a case that would drop in the other tier above 744

As others have stated, the 1060 would be AWFUL tight! I'd look at the cases BIGGER than the 1060 so that you can use the Pelican Pick N Pluck foam, so the u89's are actually protected, instead of them just sitting inside of a 1060 without any foam!
