Here are some utilities that are useful for testing or repairing flash media:
SD Association Formatter (https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/) - Running this should be your first step if you have filesystem errors on a card. I recommend doing a Full (Over Write) format.
H2Testw (https://sosfakeflash.wordpress.com/h2testw/) - Test for proper card capacity.
FakeFlashTest (http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/-fake-usb-flash-memory-drives) - Another capacity test. Direct download link here (http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/-fake-usb-flash-memory-drives/FAKEFLASHTEST_v1.0.9.zip).
RMPrepUSB (http://www.rmprepusb.com/) - this does much more than just testing; you have a number of filesystem operations available. Be careful!
Fat32Format (http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm) - For formatting any large storage media to FAT32.
Crystal Disk Mark (http://crystalmark.info/?lang=en) - Excellent free benchmarking utility for various storage media.

+T thanks Volt 8)
I just ran the test on one of my 32gb PNY Elite 95MB/s SD cards for my 70D, and it passed with flying colors using H2TestW and Fake FlashTest :) I'll be using those on all of my cards from now on!
