bt port, need new modem

I've been trying to open ports with my newly aquired dsl, and couldn't..a freind pointed out that my modem wouldn't allow this (sprint 660 series) So I guess I need a new modem? If so any suggestions, or is anyone aware of how I can use the current one?

finally figured it out with help from manufacture, after screwing around for a few hours
