Motu Traveller + Cubase Help
« on: December 13, 2005, 03:35:25 PM »
I am getting these strange digital noises in most of my recordings, about 3-8 times over a 2 set show.  I usually run a matrix, mics into the first 2 analog inputs and the sbd into the second 2 analog inputs.  I record 2 stereo tracks in cubase and the digital noise appears in both.  I will post a link to a short section of my recording with the noise in it.  Has anyone experienced this?  Are there any guides on optimizing your laptop for recording?  I shut down everything I can, disable my wireless adaptor and I still get it.  Thanks for any help in advance!

The Archive has a number of links to articlse on lappy setup; but a good place to start is WinXP.net's Tuning Tips.
