modifying the MiniMe with locking XLR?
« on: February 21, 2005, 09:58:32 AM »
has anyone modded their MiniMe to have locking XLR connectors?

without having taken one apart, it appears that 2 extra holes will have to be drilled, but other than that it should be a simple drop-in replacement, correct?

looks like you could easily replace the combo jacks with these babies:

I can see why they did this, to accomodate the hi-z for musicians, but it does kinda suck. looks easy to change out.

I’ve had a few weird experiences and a few close brushes with total weirdness of one sort or another, but nothing that’s really freaked me out or made me feel too awful about it. - Jerry Garcia
