I'd say the sound of the UA-5 is better as well.

Its debatable.  Some of my best tapes ever have been AT853RX > PS2 > AD20

Tom Petty from this summer at SPAC was great!  Probably my favorite download of this year!

either is a great choice, just depends on what style shows you tape and how many boxes you want to carry around :)

I say buy both, test them out, and resell the one you dont like as much, they bothe retain used value quite well
