Does anyone know of a cheap omni camcorder mic (preferably small)? I'm looking to rig one up in my race car. It's an open air car, so I need to rig something up down in the cockpit b/c (as you can imagine) there is terrible wind noise at the camera which is on a cross bar of the roll bar. I've seen a cheap Audio Technica dual card stereo mic that I may go w/ (ATR25 $25) but would prefer an omni if anyone knows of one. All I seem to be able to find are omni lav mics which would be great, except I can't seem to find one that's battery powered w/ a 1/8 mini...most seem to require an external transmitter which I don't want.
