I found one thread on this topic, but it doesn't look like there was an answer to the issue. The ART DI/O, receiving a signal from my Audiophile 2496, plays back 16bit and 24/48 fine, but won't lock onto a 24/96 signal. I have the DI/O set to External Sync. I also have a DVD-A player hooked up to the DI/O and when I play 24/96 DVD-A's it works fine, so I'm not sure what the issue is here? Any help out there?
Thanks

I'm not sure ALL DVD-A players output a 24/96 signal even if the source material is 24/96, some may only output up to 24/48, which player do you have?

Thanks for the reply. I thought of that as well, especially since I have a Toshiba SD4960. To test it I put in a 24/96 DVD-A disc and set the internal sync on the DI/O to 24/96, which played fine, and then had lots of digi-type noise when I set the internal sync to 24/48 and played the same 24/96 DVD-A disc, so I assumed that it was taking a clean 24/96 feed from the player?
Thanks again +T
After reading some soundcard threads on here I just picked up the Chaintech AV-710 from newegg.
