ZipZoomFly just informed me via email that my camcorder was shipped out. ETA is Monday.

They also called this morning to confirm my address with the credit card.  So that was reassuring.

What is a good bag for a camera like the HV20? I was thinking a Nova 4 would do nicely.

Can someone tell me if I get a HD miniDV camcorder like Canon HV10 in US can I travel around the world with it using both PAL and NTSC HD miniDV tapes (and also PAL and NTSC normal miniDV tapes). Haven't read anything about compatibility of tapes on these HD camcorders. Hope someone knows the answer.

Whether you're using a regular minDV camera or a High Def version, the tapes are the same.

The same with PAL and NTSC miniDV tapes. There's no such thing as a miniDV tape for NTSC cameras or a miniDV tape for PAL cameras. They're all the same.
