substitute for dual boot?
« on: October 30, 2004, 09:19:17 PM »
hey
i was wondering, if i created another user in WinXP and did install any software in there but audio stuff, would this be a suitable alternative for having a dual boot partition? my lappy didnt come with a winXP CD so i cant exactly fuck with the hard drive partitions because i wont be able to reinstall WinXP (or will I? anyone have input on this?). would this work or would it make no difference and windows would continue to run the other users applications in the background no matter what?
thanks
adam
