Title: Nakamichi Idlers Tires (CR-series & BX-series)
Post by: kskreider on January 14, 2004, 11:54:18 AM
My apologies if this is in the wrong forum.  Maybe someone could move it if I made an incorrect choice?  Also sorry if I am re-hashing info that is already common knowledge.

For those of you using Nakamichi CR- and BX- series cassette decks WITHOUT the gear upgrade for transfers/playback there is an online retailer that sells replacement tires for $.56 per tire.

I spent a fortune for this when I had to get mine replaced.

Yeah...
I used rubber rejuvinator on my BX-1 for a while, but it didn't last long enough. I had to buy the whole tire assembly. It came with the rubber tire and the wheel inself. I forgot where I ordered it from, but I do remember that it was costly.

A dead recording medium. I have about 1000 of them in a cabinet gathering dust.  ;)
