M-Audio Firewire 410

It looks like it's not shipping yet, but anyone have any idea on how this unit will peform?  I was thinking about getting a V3 when I upgraded, but this just looked like an awesome unit for the price and is making me reconsider.

I think where the v3 shines is how it sounds.  This looks like a very promising al in one unit, but I wonder what the pre and adc will sound like.  From the page I was unable to tell what kind of pre chip it was going to use!

Didn't like the preamps on the Duo, not sure if this would have the same ones (although I bet they would be).  I did notice the specs called out for DC powering - nice.  Other M-Audio "portable" gear takes AC.  This might be another "mod"-able low-cost a/d + preamp.  Firewire might be more dependable for 24/96 compared to the UA5's USB (in theory it should be, but we all know how unpredictable computers are).

I have a feeling it's too good to be true, I found a site that was taking orders for around $325...  I'll definitely want to hear how it sounds before I order anything (unless I can find a place that will take it back if I don't like it)...
