Looking to run MK4v's vertically. I see Shapeways has vertical options but they do not state that they are for the Nbob actives. Can someone point me in the right direction, or to another thread that had this topic? I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

nbobs are the same diameter as any other schoeps body, so you dont necessarily need to clip onto the skinny part, you can clip around the body itself with any of the 20mm clips like sg 20
this can also be spun to run vertical

The shapeways mounts work.

Do you mean the vertical mounts on Shapeways will fit the Nbobs? Like this one below? I know some say Nbob and some do not. Thanks!

yes the skinny exit cable portion of the nbobs is the same diameter as all the official schoeps gear (kc5/ccm/cmr)

can I hijack this ? 8)
I really like this mount, but I struggle a bit with getting the angle right on my rare open taping outings. I am lining the notches up so the 4v red dots are centered. Anyone have another method?

If you asked Scott to make a version of this mount with specific markings to indicate specific angles I think that he would be happy to do that. He has the capabilities and the skills!

Markings on this vertical Shapeways mount? Wondering how that would look/work? Sounds like an awesome idea.

I sent a note to Scott to see what he can do as far as markings, etc.

I sometimes trim the corners from a yellow Post-It, giving me two little triangular pieces of paper. I then stick those onto the capsules so that when they point directly forward, the microphones are angled apart as I wish.
Here's a photo showing this type of arrangement. I don't know whether it's OK to leave these on for, like, years, but neither do I know whether they'd stay on that long anyway. You can see that the one on the left is already becoming a little impatient, and wanting to get up and wander around a little. That's understandable, these days especially.

Great idea DSatz, I really like the Shapeways vertical active bar, but struggle with eyeballing the angle just using the red dots.

I mentioned this before, see above in this thread. Scott from SRS is great to work with as far as asking for improvements or special requests on his bars. I'm sure that he could design a vert bar that is "marked" with known angles. Send him a PM: https://taperssection.com/index.php?action=profile;u=21787
He usually checks in at TS daily and is lightning fast in his responses.
