V2>R1 anyone ?
« on: March 17, 2006, 07:27:48 AM »
does anybody run this combo?
I was daydreaming yesterday, and thought that this would be a very nice sounding alternative.  the R1 has a very nice sounding A/D in it, imo.

V3>MT, sounds like issues still w/the MT.  or are people finaly becoming happy w/this as a bit bucket?  the time issues would keep me from buying it.

i have run:

 V2 rca out > MT2496 TRS in

on several occasions and had no problems.

as for the 2gb file limitation, afaik the r1 doent have that capability either

My gear: JK Labs AKG DVC > M10
              AKG 460 ck61/ck62/ck63 > DR-70D

A live concert to me is exciting because of all the electricity that is generated in the crowd and on stage. It's my favorite part of the business, live concerts.

nope.  it doesn't.  and for the first time ever, I wished it did the other night.  I rarely ever record anything that has to go over 2hrs 10mins, but I did on friday... missed a bit of the recording because I didn't know it was stopped (stealthing).
Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.
