Post by: samntuck on June 03, 2010, 12:18:10 AM
I own 2 Sony Dat recorders.I am looking to find the best battery power to use to power both of these units when I need to use them at concerts

I have the Sony M-1 & Sony DAT TCD-D10 Pro II.Can someone please suggest what is available and any links to these battery power systems that would work on these 2 Sony DATs?

Do not recall what powers the D10 Pro, but for sure I've supplied many for still available BD-1 for working M1 deck lasting for days at a time.

I have cases for the BD-1 and are free with BD-1 purchase.

See my company's deck powering page at: www.sonicstudios.com/batsys98.htm#chrt (http://www.sonicstudios.com/batsys98.htm#chrt)

The D10 requires 12 volts, and you have to have the DCP-80 to make it work. The DCP-80 goes into the battery slot, and has a 12-volt input that can be used with a car lighter adaptor or any 12volt battery system. Eco-charge used to have a setup for it years ago, don't know if they still do. The DCP-80 is a  very hard part to find, took me a LONG time to get one.
