Topic: whats the consensus on MTII?

i saw the thread and recall guysonics measurements and a lot of other discussion, but can someone summarize the following for me:

1. how does the gapless/over 2GB work?, is it reliable
2. is this unit as buggy as the latest firmware gen of the MT?
3. what kind of battery life you gettin out of the box? (I know they fall off quick)
4. is the mic in or line in worth using? any real improvements over the old one?

the split seems to work fine
the latest firmware on the mt1 i didn't know had problems
the battery seems to work decent for most, i still would run a external
the 1/4 are noisy and its rumored maudio stopped production in order to try and fix that issue

wasn't it that they were noisy if used unbalanced, but were OK with a balanced connection?
