has anyone used this. its listed for around 200, but im wondering if its adequate since it only has 1 xlr input.

A lot of people use them, including me. What do you mean one XLR input? It is a stereo preamp. You can get it customized- talk to Jon (he owns Naiant) and he can help you with whatever you need.

(checks my Littlebox to see if something has changed)

No, it's a two-channel preamp - and highly customizable.
I wonder if any "base model" units have been built, or if every single order has been customized? Mine: extended-depth case, 4xAA power, input transformers with bypass switch, mic power switch (in the not-so-likely case I ever need to run dynamics or ribbons), 1/4"-20 mounting stud to attach my LS-10. Inputs: standard phantom XLR and PIP minijack, outputs: standard RCA and minijack.
Bang-for-the-buck rating: over the top.
