Due to the fact my nomads both have optical jack problems i had planned on taping tonight with a borrwed md.  I just ran a test and it appears the md wont take a digital in signal from my hosa 312.  I'm pretty sure this just means i'm stuck since I don't have anything that strips smcs (is that what its called?).

Is it the hosa 312 or the mini me thats preventing recording.  This is a real piss off, since my mini me doesn't have analog in i'm going to have to hope the jb3 holds together for at least one show.

andrew, simple question, but you ARE trying to feed the md a 44.1k signal, md won't run on a 48k input.
