They are pretty freakin expensive, but with all products of this nature, will eventually come down.
SanDisk 16 GB Extreme III Compact Flash Card (not microdrive). this site has them for $549. Definitely cheaper to get 2 8GB cards, but... but once it comes down, could be a convenient option.

they also have the Sandisk 12 gig card for $400

it'll be sweet when these 12 gig and 16 gig cards drop another couple hundred dollars...
a couple of those cards, and you'd be set for a festival, without having to dump the CF card to a harddrive the whole weekend...

this wa sthe price of 8GB carsd when i checked in feb 2006, SOOO id imagine they drop pretty quickly

I think I paid 360 for my 8 gig last summer. Bring on the 16!!! I'll only have to dump files every other day at a festival then. Woot.
