Title: Catalina upgrade problem
Post by: old and in the way on November 05, 2019, 07:46:18 AM
So i upgraded the macbook pro to Catalina . i still Burn cd discs for use in car and older home theatre cd player. problem is now when i set gap to none i still have a gap between tracks.never had problem before using the old i tunes library/playlist as a way to burn . new Catalina upgrade changed i tunes to music (no longer i tunes) . anyway i let apple know and wonder if anyone has had a similar problem . i know cd's are old school and i use other options like my audio player that i can play flac on . but my old Subaru is cd only capable and still works fine playing cd's ( 6 disc capable ).

Give Burn a try. It is open source and free.

I'm not at all convinced that Catalina is really ready to go. Any chance you can roll back to an image of a Mojave backup drive?

thanks guys . i'll probably get Burn. i sent apple a note and they said they are going to look into it. going back to mojave and older i tunes would be a real pain . easier to do a work around for now.
