a quick question...
« on: July 23, 2009, 09:38:29 PM »
hey all-

i taped DMB last night, and i noticed its bassy as hell. do i want to pass it thru a low pass filter or a high pass filter in audcity to get rid of the excess bass?? i use my trusty old magix audio creator to break up the tracks( so ill export it as a wav from audcity0. what numerical setting should i set it to as well, to get rid of the excess, but not get rid of all of it? thanks in advance for any help!!!

High Pass Filter and/or EQ.  There are a couple links to using HPF, one of them Audacity-specific, in the sticky at the top of the forum.
