Title: Drop-out issue

I have a binaural recording where one of the mics was beginning to have issues, some digi-glitching and then drop-outs, luckily mostly not during the music (symphonic/choral).  Only one patch of about 10 seconds where the (left) mic dropped out.  I have copied the right channel to the left there, which is a rough fix, but the sound is clearly wrong.  Is there any suggested EQ, etc. anyone has found helpful in such cases?
