and then apply ReplayGain with foobar2000 (free) to use up all the unused headroom, i.e., get it as loud as possible wihout clipping. If I apply compression I do it iwith Audacity (free) before applying ReplayGain.
would you be kind and explain me this more. I have foobar, but I only plays my music through it. I didn't know about such a feature it has. I was checking options, but don't know what to do exactly....like open the file....and than what? cheers.
