what you do is immerse them in clean soapy water. then call adk and order a new pair. ;D
no cleaning required to my knowledge.
-
talking about the white plastic peice under the cap....
+ T for the funny ADK comment

Once you figure how to clean the beeyachees, use WSs to keep them smoke free...

Just be careful not to let the smoke out!

drop thm in a bucket of degreaser-then set them in the direct sunlight to dry----works everytime ;D
-
i expect smart ass comments from AKG users ;D
-
THX
-
no problem.....
to bad i missed the first 20 seconds of the first song saturday night
-
I've listened to mine about 3 times---sounds good, just the levels need to come up. i think you could get the 20 seconds from me.
-
no offense, this is one of those times you send your mics back to neumann, drop the 50 bucks or whatever it costs, let them fix them and check all the parts. they may see something you might not see wrong with the mics
-

"rant on"

"rant off"
smart enough for ya? ;) ;D :banging head:
-
yeah, akg users dont need to worry about shit like that!!!
ive had my 480's for 5 years now, should i send mine in??? goo also dropped a capsule on the ground at galactic one time, in 01, but nothing audible
not being a dick goo, just wondering...
-
might consider sending it in for a cleaning when you've got some extended downtime
-
yeah, couldnt hurt i guess, huh??
i may do that, but my downtime is never more than a month usually
im sure heath would loan a pair of mics if need be tho!!
-
I'd be suprised if it took longer than a month Bean, I think Neumann turns them around in a few weeks.

nice, theyre still in MINT condition too 8)theyd be pretty happy to see a 5year old pair of mics come back the same way they left ;)
-
bean, not to burst your bubble, but that's standard. studios often keep their mics in pristine condition
-
cool, i always take care of my recording stuff......
-
as well you should :-) as should everyone! you are an example to us all :-D

-
+T for that Andrew
-
glad you readily admit to your your roots - most rednecks take offense at actually being called rednecks
-
Somebody say something to me?
-
