Has anyone seen or know someone that has the custom case for it?

Kinda pricey @ $160 tho

Fits fine in my $20 Targus bag.  No way in hell I'm spending $160 for a bag...

Well I was thinkin that spot for the batt is perfect for the njb3, but gotta find it for MUCH less...

OTOH, I just checked the dimensions of the mp-2 and I can fit it into my mini rig bag, with the at8533x transformers if I make up some right angle mini cables...  So the mini rig will have AT853's Phantom'd with a MP-2 running into the NJB-3 all in the size of a small cd player case  ;D

On a side note, would there be any benefit to run MP-2 > UA-5?  For stand I might do that...

Those mini rig pics rule my face! I'm trying to do something similar with a ps2 > sbm-1 > jb3 combo but I can't find a f@cking 7 pin > optical anywhere! and this odl-276 + 9v is cramping my style.

+T's comin soon!

Thanks for the info on it, wasn't thinking in terms of that, more like in terms of carrying a very small bag and being able to drop it somewhere (ie an armrest like I have in the past) With the mini rig people think it is a CD player so I don't get any looks at all...

On a side note, kiinda hoping that the MP-2 has an off position for the meters, but from what I have been reading it appears to have a bright, brighter, and dude you better have sunglasses mode.

BTW this is the minirig

you can turn off the meter lights, just flip the meter switch to the far left setting.

Which, btw, is about 5x the size of the targus bag I use.  I use the JB3 (instead of the laptop) because of the size, no way am I getting a big bag like that to hold something that fits in my hand. ;)

Exactly!  I have a backpack for the ua-5 laptop combo, but for the mp-2 small is good.  What bag you using John?
