So, planning to transfer my DAT masters to PC>DVD
Just want to confirm if the hardware I will use is good to prevent gap transfers, clicks, pops, just a clean bit by bit transfer.
So this would be the lineage:
M1>POC-DA12SP>Midiman CO3>MAudio 24/96>Soundforge 8
As you see, I will use the CO3 to convert toslink to coaxial signal to be plugged to the 24/96
Will use sounforge 8 to do the transfer then burn it on to DVD (0f course checkig the sample speed to prevent "alvin & chipmunks" or creepy slow voice)
Most of my DAT`s are at 48
My PC:
XP Proffesional
Service Pack 3
Pentium 4
3.00 Ghz
1.98 GB RAM
Yes I know when transfering close all the background stuff, and leave everything alone
correct right?
Thanks!!
Ed ;)

You got it. Good luck. Make sure you give things a proper playback on your computer to make sure you have no dropouts from the transfer.
