Title: Downloading HD vids from you tube...need help.

So i am using mpeg streamclip to download from you tube ....it says its downloading .mp4 and when i go to saved file it says it is .ymp and nothing will open it including mpeg streamclip.Sony Vegas crashes right away when i pull it in or import.Ultimately i want to open them in Sony Vegas pro.I shot a HD concert video recently and another guy on you tube has as well and posted the whole set on you tube.I contacted him to see if he'd send the original footage so i can mix them and got no reply,hence trying to get the hd versions off you tube.Anybody have experience doing this?

Use Firefox and "Video Download Helper" or just go to keepvid.com

Thanks,never heard of keepvid but appears to work....just snagged a 1920x1080 and vegas accepts it.Thanks again!
