Title: "Stupid Qustions are to blame"

I need a new mic stand but don't wan't to go over budget after I buy a preamp,mics, and cables. I figure I have a under 100 bucks or so to spend. The thing is I have a sturdy mic stand that only extends to 5' so I was wonderin' if I could buy a boom only some where and find or make a T-bar for cheap. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is that $100 for everything or just the stand??

go ebay, i think i got my stand for like 50 or so with shipping its a 13 ft bogen.  good luck
