Never had a single bad burn with a Fuji, which is fuckin' incredible. I've been through at least 50 or so discs with Fuji, and each one worked just fine. The only bad burn I ever had was the first disc I made when I got the recorder, and that was the Verbatim that came in the box.
I just wish CDs had this track record when they first came out!

I've been burning DVD"s since 09/00. I've never really had a problem with any brand, other then some of the newer Verbatims. my drive doesn't seem to like them (Pioneer A03).
Sony, TDK, Fuji, Verbatim are all pretty reliable.
