Recording Rehearsal session [percussion band]
« on: July 17, 2008, 08:08:03 AM »
HI tapers,

Tomorrow I'll record a rehearsal session of precussion band's friend. They're play batucada and similiar.

The room is in a rehearsal local, about 6m2. This a video footage; for to make a idea of number of musicians and types.

I'm thinking about to locate the band in semicircle, big percussion in second line far away.

This is my rig;

km184's and sd722

Which configuration use? I'm thinking in ortf or xy120. I would like that the recording was clear, avoiding excess of low end that usually give "surdos"

Thanks in advance!

Dani
