Need help with Schoeps Kwon DIN bar
« on: February 13, 2009, 04:47:08 PM »
Okay, this must sound like I'm a moron, but I've never used one of these Kwon bars and I'm not sure how far the KC5 can/should be inserted into the hole in the bar.  I tried pushing the end of the KC5 into the hole but it wouldn't go in and I didn't want to push it too hard and scratch up the KC5 end.  Any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys!

they require a little force to push in. don't worry, you won't break anything. you just push them in until they stop.

Thanks, I gave it a firm push and it went in nicely. :)

a good tip i was given was to think of it like dental floss going between two teeth.  If you hold both ends and kinda wiggle it in there it seems to go in just fine  The outer shell of the kc5s are pretty tough though, so don't sweat it.
