has anyone ever heard anything about this outdated, dynamic shotgun mic? my girlfriend's boss was a taper back in the late 80's/early 90's and he is letting me use some of his gear that he hasn't touched in ages (nak cm100s, akg d900s) ...i am trying out a 3 mic nak mix on thursday (Lotus) and was wondering if the AKG mics were worth running sometime outdoors? at first i figured it would be crap because it was dynamic, but then i just saw one on ebay for over 300 hundie and labeled as 'vintage'
thing is freakin huge though - 2.5 feet long.
